What is your current role at smzh? Has it changed over time?
I am Regional Manager and Senior Client Advisor at smzh ag. My role has evolved over time—from advisor to a leadership position, where I am responsible for building and expanding our office.
How long have you been working at smzh?
I have been part of smzh ag for six years – initially as an advisor, and now in a management role.
What does a typical workday look like?
A typical day involves client consultations on retirement planning, finances, insurance, taxes, and real estate. In addition to client meetings, I am responsible for strategic topics at our Lucerne office, internal training sessions, and the development of new business areas such as our corporate client solutions.
What do you particularly enjoy about your job?
The direct impact on my clients’ financial well-being and the opportunity to develop sustainable strategies for them. I also value the entrepreneurial freedom and the chance to actively shape my team.

Definitely. Today, I make more informed decisions, plan with a long-term perspective, and focus more on tax and financial optimization.
What advice would you give peers about finances and retirement planning?
Start early, be honest about your financial situation, and seek professional advice. If you want to be financially independent, you need to learn to manage your finances strategically – not just spend.
What is your favorite sport? And do you play sports yourself?
My favorite exercise is strength training. For me, it’s not only physical compensation, but also a source of mental strength.

“Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki – a classic that encourages a new perspective on finances.
What is your favorite movie?
I don’t have a specific favorite movie. It depends very much on my mood – sometimes I enjoy inspiring documentaries, other times good thrillers or films with depth. What matters to me is that a film evokes something or makes you think.
What kind of music do you like?
I enjoy motivational and energetic music – from hip-hop and inspiring podcasts to oriental beats.
How do you unwind after work?
I reflect on my day, spend time with my family, work out, or engage in projects that inspire me.
