An exclusive panel discussion against an impressive mountain backdrop in Celerina / St. Moritz!

In mid-March, smzh was part of the SBN.Circle event that took place in the Engadine mountains – thought-leadership, sports insights, and in-depth discussions all inclusive. This three-day event revolved around the topic of “The AI Race – Who will lead the digital future?”

On day two, our CIO Bekim Laski attended the event, taking part in a panel discussion on “Tradition Meets Token.” In his contribution, he emphasized the importance of considering blockchain and token technologies in a differentiated manner rather than as part of the topic of cryptocurrencies. Bekim explained that the technology underlying blockchain and tokens has the potential to digitize financial infrastructure efficiently, facilitating new perspectives and forms of wealth management as well as access to capital markets.

The lively discussion made it clear to what extent the ongoing digitalization is changing the financial industry, combining traditional structures with innovative technologies.
