Kimmy Repond has been on the ice since she was four years old. The 17-year-old from Basel has a fascination for figure skating: her two older sisters were already figure skaters.
Today, one of them is Kimmy's mental coach, the other is part of her team of coaches on the ice. After winning everything there was to win in Switzerland at youth, junior and youth level, Repond made her breakthrough into the international elite last year: the 16-year-old won bronze at her first European Championships and placed eighth at the World Championships.
Since this summer, the athlete has her Matura behind her and can concentrate fully on her passion, figure skating. She has already been selected for the major title competitions in 2024 and will perform once again at the beginning of the year at the Art on Ice 2024 show.
