smzh AG changes its name to smzh ag - an adjustment that is entirely in line with the expansion of the financial advisor for customised and comprehensive solutions.

New branch in Aarau

With the opening of the new branch in Aarau on 22 June 2023, the company now has 4 locations and over 70 employees. The branch in Aarau is a strategic decision and a matter of the heart for the company: with strong ties to the region, the independent financial services provider has been supporting FC Aarau for over a year as a premium partner and with a great sense of passion.

«Aarau is not only an emotional topic for me, but also an additional milestone in the area of corporate clients thanks to the existing network. This makes it even easier for us to be personally present for our clients at all times»

sagt Patrick Müller von der smzh.

Expansion in the smzh management team

The announcement of Patrick Müller as branch manager in Aarau also marks his appointment to the smzh management team, with responsibility for managing and developing the strategic partnerships division. Thanks to his many years of self-employment in marketing and networking, he knows what clients' needs are and where they can be relieved.

Dr. iur. Aurelia Frick also joins the financial services provider and will support the further expansion of smzh in the area of Business Development and Strategic Advisory. As the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Liechtenstein, she has long-standing management experience and far-reaching connections for the strategic development of the company.

Furthermore, Roman Schuler is stepping down as Chairman of the Board of Directors of smzh after four years and completion of the first growth phase and is handing over the chairmanship to Thomas Kaufmann. Thomas Kaufmann has already been on the Board of Directors since 2019 and is the ideal person for the second phase of the smzh growth plan, which includes expanding existing locations and establishing additional ones.

«Aarau is another milestone in our development. Soon, more than 20 employees will be working for our customers at Bahnhofstrasse 41 in Aarau. Through the expansion of the management, we see ourselves excellently positioned to achieve our goals. With the additional locations in Bern (September) and Buchs SG (November), we will have more than 160 workplaces in the future.»
