On May 7, 2025, the Park Hyatt Zurich again became a stage for ideas, visions, and conversations about money. More than 200 guests were invited to the second Forbes Money Summit – an event that doesn't just ask what capital is, but above all what impact it can have.
As an event partner, smzh ag was in the midst of the summit – where conversations focused on attitude, substance, and orientation in the complex world of finance. Our CIO Bekim Laski took the audience on a journey through geopolitical turmoil, market volatility and structural portfolio strategies. His message? Financial resilience doesn't start with an amount, but with a structure.
"A robust portfolio can be built with a few hundred francs – it's a question of construction, not volume," says Bekim Laski.
His expertise was made tangible – during the event, we gave away a personal wealth analysis with Bekim, a contest that met with significant response.
The day was characterized by diversity in mindsets, backgrounds, and sectors. From young robotics entrepreneur Marko Bjelonic, who made it from a refugee camp to the ETH Zurich all the way to Jeff Bezos, to Diana Diaz Castro, a businesswoman who eloquently showed how private capital can finance sustainable development. The panel discussions ranged from technology, law, and banking to questions surrounding the mental health of the wealthy – demonstrating that money is not just an arithmetic unit, but also includes social responsibility, a willingness to create, and sometimes even spiritual dimensions.
Within these multifaceted contributions, smzh represented what we do every day: personal advice, clear positioning, long-term thinking. The Money Summit showed that today, these attributes are more relevant than ever before.
We thank Forbes for its partnership, our co-organizers, and above all the attendees who enriched the event with their curiosity, openness, and critical questions.

Bekim Laski, CIO and Partner at smzh ag, was one of the speakers. He explained why structure is more important than size, why discipline trumps emotions, and why even small contributions can enable a stable portfolio. An inspiring contribution at the Forbes Money Summit 2025.
