What is your current role? Has it changed over time?

I am currently working as an SEO Specialist. Over time, my responsibilities have expanded, and I am now in charge of everything related to the smzh website. Additionally, I am part of the digitalization team.

How long have you been working for smzh?

I have been part of the team since February 3, 2025.

What does a typical workday look like?

Early in the morning, I start by going through my e-mails and reviewing the day’s reports. I compare metrics with previous data to reassess and implement adjustments aimed at optimizing the website’s visibility. Throughout the day, I have several meetings with different departments, as I am involved in multiple projects and teams. I optimize our existing pages and create new ones according to our strategy. Since I work very independently – which is a major advantage at smzh – I have the freedom to make decisions and pursue my own ideas.

What do you particularly enjoy about your job?

The possibility to work independently, the incredibly nice offices, the work culture and atmosphere, and my amazing colleagues. smzh provides a positive work environment unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I also appreciate the opportunity to learn a lot, which is very important to me, since I am involved in several departments and can contribute to different topics.

What makes smzh a special employer?

smzh goes the extra mile for its employees in many ways. In my role as an SEO Specialist, I particularly value the fact that I can learn something new every day. At smzh, employees are appreciated and their work is recognized.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I'm passionate about technology and sports. I read books, watch Netflix, play football, padel, and tennis, go snowboarding, work out, meet friends, or learn something new.

What are your biggest dreams?

A few years from now, I want to look back and say that I have no regrets about any of my decisions. My biggest dream is to turn 80 and be able to say: “There’s nothing in my life that I did without truly wanting to.” I also want to give back to my community. My goal is to leave future generations with a more sustainable, efficient, and overall better world.

Has your attitude towards finances and retirement planning changed since working in this field?

Absolutely. I now have much more knowledge about finances and retirement planning, thanks to the insights and advice I’ve received from smzh and my colleagues.

What is your advice to peers regarding finances and retirement planning?

Financial advice from smzh is definitely valuable. The earlier you start thinking about your finances and retirement, the more grateful you’ll be in the future.

What is your favorite sport? And are you active in sports yourself?

Football, without a doubt! I’ve been playing since I was six years old and have always been a huge fan. I almost became a professional player if it hadn’t been for my knee... (:P)

Do you have a book recommendation?

The Alchemist. Once you read it, you’ll understand why.

What is your favorite movie?

Interstellar is number one, followed by The Lord of the Rings trilogy at number two. Interstellar has an atmosphere I just can’t describe. LOTR is my go-to film; I watch it at least once a year.

What kind of music do you like?

I enjoy listening to everything except metal and rock. I’m a fan of pop, hip-hop, rap, electronic, and house.

What do you do to unwind after work?

I don’t really feel the need to unwind, my work brings me a great deal of joy. I enjoy what I do and don’t feel like I need to take a break.
