What does a typical workday look like for you?

A typical workday starts with checking my e-mails and then working through my to-do list. This includes setting up campaigns for our various events and trade fairs, as well as creating social media content, mainly promoting our contests. Throughout the day, I participate in different meetings to discuss our current status, outstanding tasks, and communication plans. I also coordinate set-up and breakdown times, ensuring our events and exhibitions run smoothly. I’m often on-site myself, actively supporting the team.

What do you like most about your job?

Has working in this field changed your approach to finances and retirement planning?

Since working in this industry, I have developed a much clearer understanding of the importance of financial planning for the future. I now approach my finances more strategically, plan ahead, and make conscious decisions to ensure long-term security.

What advice would you give peers about finances and retirement planning?

I would advise peers to start building financial awareness early. Even small amounts saved or invested regularly can add up considerably over the years.

The book "Verity" by Colleen Hoover.

What kind of music do you like to listen to?

I adapt it to my mood – sometimes I listen to house or techno, but also enjoy Lana Del Rey.

How do you unwind after work?

To relax after work, I like to go to the sauna, cook, or clean at home – order and cleanliness have a very calming effect on me.

"The imputed rental value has been abolished: For many home owners, this makes it worth bringing forward planned renovations such as facade renovations, new windows, or a new kitchen. Those who act now can save several thousand francs in taxes."

Imputed Rental Value & Renovations

The imputed rental value is an important component of Swiss real estate taxation. Homeowners pay tax on a fictitional rental income if they live in their own property. Renovation work can impact imputed rental value and one's tax burden – in both a positive and a negative way.
