How do you rate the current season progress of GC Amicitia Zurich?

Very good! We started the season extremely strong and are currently placed third with 18 points, even level with the second-placed team from Kriens Luzern. I must say, so far, we've been able to deliver our performance in most games and collect a lot of points.

What are the team goals for the 23/24 season, and what personal goals have you set?

Playoff and Cup semi-finals! Those are certainly our most important goals. Personally, I aim to reach another final! I also want to take the next step in my athletic development, assuming more responsibility on the field and enhancing my individual skills.

You played a significant role in the Cup final 2022 victory against Pfadi. How realistic is winning a title in the near future?

That's a tough question... I believe, from a sports perspective, as a team and as a club, we've stabilized and established ourselves in recent years. Whether another title will follow this year or in the next 1-2 seasons is incredibly hard to predict, given there are now several good teams in the OHL. However, I'll do everything to ensure we don't just have one title and a 'dream season'.

You are a GC Amicitia homegrown talent now playing in the main team. What do you still believe you can achieve in handball?

Everything! I know that in sports, various factors play crucial roles. Some can be influenced, and some cannot. Personally, I still want to improve a bit more. Whether I can accomplish this and achieve my long-term goals remains to be seen.

What effort does it take to play handball as a QHL player in Switzerland?

Quite significant. The OHL has now become a good and competitive league. If you don't prepare properly—by that, I mean everything from video analysis to nutrition—you won't be successful as a player or as a team. Besides handball, I'm also studying Health Sciences at ETH, which takes up some of my time. That's why it's important for me to manage my time well. So far, it's been working out.

Mortgage Radar – November 2025

"The imputed rental value has been abolished: For many home owners, this makes it worth bringing forward planned renovations such as facade renovations, new windows, or a new kitchen. Those who act now can save several thousand francs in taxes."

Imputed Rental Value & Renovations

The imputed rental value is an important component of Swiss real estate taxation. Homeowners pay tax on a fictitional rental income if they live in their own property. Renovation work can impact imputed rental value and one's tax burden – in both a positive and a negative way.
